Both lovely (as are the several others you have posted recently).
Of these two, I prefer the first, as I feel the foreground rocks help to balance the image between near and far.

I like the composition on #1, and the colours on #2.

These are up to your usual high standards. Even without comments I get some satisfaction knowing that the images have been looked at. And not criticized!

My vote goes to photo #2, mostly because I prefer the colors. I would try to carry the massive rock (on the right of image #1) to photo #2… just kidding of course!

Glad to hear you guys mostly like the big rock as I remember thinking it covered too much in the frame when I took this shot. After importing the photos on my computer though, I thought it looked pretty good and provided a good point to lead the eye.
