Hi everyone:
I have a Leaf Valeo 22 Wi with a Leaf Digital Magazine.
I need to know why the back does not recognize the disk. The light on the disk is green an the light on the back is orange, and that means the back can't start up.
I used Leaf Capture V8 to arrange for portable and the program recognize the disk without a problem by copying the files on it.
I think the problem is how I formatted the disk because the Mac saws the DM as 20Gb, but on the case you can read 10Gb...
I used Utility Disk on mac to format it. The format is FAT32.
Any help?
And sorry about my english

Because it is a basically a PC and you need to format your CF card with a DOS FAT 32 partition. It is a very common issue if you are not aware of this. Once you do it, you will be able to reformat in Leaf back without doing this again.
Follow this link to the Phase One / Leaf Knowledge Base where you can find all sorts of good info for your Leaf Aptus 22.

I already format in that way.
I use Utility Disk on Mac.
1. I formatted the Leaf Digital Magazine as MS DOS FAT
2. Label it as "LEAF-DM"
The problems are
1.outside the magazien said that is a 10Gb disk, but my mac recognize it as 20Gb (minus problem, maybe the disk was changed)
2. Leaf Capture works ok on Arrange for portable
3. When I attach the disk to the DB: the disk starts ok, green fixed light... but the DB don't works, the light of the back is alwasy orange, this means that something is not working ok.
And, the Valeo Works perfectly attached to the computer... ergo... the problem is the disk

I forgot to mention:
The disk was working ok. The problem is that was arranged for a Fuji and it had 6 partitions. Very uncomfortable to work, so I decide to reformatted in one big partition as the phase one forum said... but... here's the result.
The partition on the disk were: LEAFDM SYS (all the files needed)
And 6 partitions labeled: LEAF-DMA. B and so on
Now I have one partition labeled LEAF-DM with inside LEAFDM SYS folder and all files needed inside.
The only thing I saw is that the GAIN file I needed to save it manually because Leaf Capture V8 don't copy onto disk
I want to know what I'm doing wrong :)

Daniel,
Which camera is the back mounted on and have you set the camera type when you used the "arrange for portable" function?

I have a Hasselbald 553ELX.
On Arrange for portable I set up
Valeo 22 and Hasselblad 553ELX

I solved the problem.
I changed the label from LEAF-DM to LEAF_DM... so simple as that.
