Title: The Dark Hedges - Northern Ireland
Post by: TonyKennard on July 09, 2013, 09:34:44 pm
First time here and first post. :)  I'm a hobbyist from Edmonton, Alberta and my wife and I just returned from a wonderful trip to the UK.  I'd like to share a wonderful location with you...

I like the perspective, plus the inclined trees, almost beckoning viewers to step in.

Nice one. Unusual, getting brighter in the background. I bet you have another with everything in focus.

Welcome to Luminous Landscape Tony.
A very intriguing first post I must say.

I do like the composition very much.
I have to admit though that in leading the viewer deep into the image there is not that much to view because the limited depth of field progressively blurs the image leading up the road.
This is a pity, because IMHO, the image loses dramaitically because of this.

I do look forward to seeing more of your work.

I was there just a month ago. Here's a different perspective (24 mm. on Full Frame).
