This is really good. However, I can not help but think how this would look like if taken with a larger sensor camera and a macro lens, for throwing all that background out of focus and smooth, not interfering with the subject.

But as I said, this is really good.

Thank you very much everyone for the comments ! I really appreciate it !

Eric-yea a completely dialed in camera makes photography such a joy and adds confidence
to that camera so you can focus on image making and not fighting with your gear.

Krish-that was the plan to drop the Orton effect to get the detail back in my work.

Paulo-I did not check the EXIF on this one but I think I shot it at f/5.6, could have went to f/4
to throw the back ground but at a trade off of getting all the wing edges in focus which I like.
But you are right sometimes you get a grasses background.
