Title: Hasselblad 110 f/2 On H2?
Post by: chrisbodnarphoto on June 07, 2013, 08:01:39 pm
Does anyone know of any adapters for Hasselblad FE lenses on H-series cameras?

I know about the CF Adapter, but I believe this is only for C/F/E lenses, correct?

I figured it would be fairly simple to make an adapter for FE -> H, considering both are focal plane shutter.

I would LOVE to use my 110 f/2 on my H, and I'm just wondering if there's any way possible to make this happen.

Thanks for any + all help!

Chris

For the record, I only shoot film, and - even when I use H-series lenses - I only use manual focus.  I'm not worried about losing any digital functions, as all I would need to control via the body would be shutter speed and aperture.

Work work. The H only takes leaf shutter lenses. I did successfully mount the FE 110 F/2 on my Contax 645 with great results.

I also have the 110 on my contax, but don't use it often except for those once in a blue moon, one eyeball in focus images.

We all love fast lenses, but rarely does everyone shoot wide open.

But why the 110 hasselblad makes a great 100mm  H lens at f2.2 which I think is the Jewel of their lens line.

Go for the H 100mm.

It is better than the Zeiss one. Excellent sharpness, narrow DOF. A keeper !
