A great moment with wonderful atmosphere. Despite the title, though, I wonder if the brightness of the sky detracts from the mystery of the scene and suggest cropping "the top" off. To this end, I've attached a slightly re-worked version that also bumps the contrast and clarity to emphasize the drama of the moment. My students find this to a healthy exercise in learning to see differently, so I hope I've not offended you in doing so. If so, I will remove it from the post.

I usually LOVE to crop. But not this one. The cropped version makes it harder to read the location with no payback. It also upsets the balance of the image.

Terry is usually an excellent critic, but this time I side with Lou.

Wonderful.

Initially, I thought that the bright upper would be detrimental but after seeing Terry's cropped version, I prefer the original.

Not me. The crop is more to the point.
