That's the remains of an ancient forest [the dead trees in the foreground]?
I never stopped in the National Park although I passed by these dunes many times. Weather was always awful…

Enjoyed the image. That's a place I've always wanted to visit. Maybe find time next year (2014).

Nice image, Pramote! So many places to shoot, so little time...
What is going on with the sand in the foreground? I see 1/8 sec in the EXIF data so is the sand blowing or is that diffraction at f/22? I am not familiar with the Phase One.

Thanks very much Francois, Les and David! Really appreciate your kind words.
Francois/Les... You should stop by sometimes. It is a very beautiful place. I went in fall and loved it. I was alone!
David...I don't think it's diffraction from my experience with this back and lens.

Sometimes, I think that I'm dragging rain and clouds just above my head. I could never stop there as rain and wind were always blowing and you sure know how sand can have nasty effects on camera gear.

Edit: typo correction
