I really like the first. I like that there is a good bit of texture and detail in the shadow areas of the shot. I have never been able to develop much affinity for the morning shots, they always seem somehow cold and the light is a slight bit uninviting to me. That’s just a personal thing, as the second is a nice shot as well.

Great set, Rajan. It's nice that you can sometimes find good material close to home (or at least that you don't have to cross two or three oceans to get there.)

Ah, Eric, I have to cross the pond every time I head to Goa - the Atlantic, if I take Lufthansa or Swiss, and the Pacific, if I head west out of SFO. :-)

Thanks for your remarks.

Mornings are sometimes hard to convey.  The stillness, interrupted only by birdsong, and in this instance, heightened by the mist  - all this scarcely comes through in a picture.
