How do you use your IQ back with view cameras in zero latency mode?
Coming from the P25, when using my Bicam, I still continue using the 2 step multiconnector wake up cable that comes with my new back.
Now, I sometimes wish to use to IQ in zero latency mode (for handheld shooting) with the normal minijack sync cable that I also use with my 503cw.
The Silvestri adapter plate (and maybe other technical camera plates too?) is larger than the IQ back, the minijack cable fits into the IQ Back in both positions but is 1mm too thick, it moves the DB a bit away form the camera. Definitely not something to do. Are there thinner cables available?
Something else: Anybody here using a V-Mount IQ back on his technical camera ? There vertical release button is very difficult to press when my IQ160 is attached on the Bicam (and not at the 503cw). The live adapter plate being larger (again) than the DB, the button is not very accessible as you can see in the pictures. The older (P backs) solution was less design, but user friendlier. Do I really care now…not really, I just tilt the camera for vertical shooting. But it’s something I want P1 to know, I may mention it on their own forum too. Maybe there are users of LF cameras with sliding backs that can't rotate their inserts and need to rotate the back.

You can do one of 2 things:
1. Get the mini-jack to multiconnect adapter cable and use your existing sync cable
2. Get a long sync cable that goes straight into the multiconnct socket (which is under the top rubber cover on the back)
Both options are described here (http://www.phaseone.com/Search/Article.aspx?articleid=2223&languageid=1)

Thank you Yair,
that was probably too easy to find out myself ;)
you're right,
and I even have my long multiconnector cable somewhere that I got with the P25. Must be in that box with the cable for the motorized Hassi body and the other spare cables.
Thanks again

Shave some of the plastic of the plug is also an option...

not the first option, but yes, it is
was thinking about that too for a moment;-)
luckily it works now without shaving or cutting
thanks

Also since there are 2 sockets (one for vertical and one for horizontal, you can try the other one as the adapter plate on that area may be a bit different. This was my experience with a Sinar lanTec recently
One other option is to get an Aptus sync cable which has a narrower moulded plug made of rubber so it can get squeezed a bit
