Title: D800E file larger with LR than C1
Post by: Willow Photography on March 23, 2013, 05:27:55 am
Why is the TIFF file larger when processed in LR4 than C1 7.1?

LR4      7360 x 4912
C1 7.1  7051 x 4705

Its not a minor difference.

Hi,

Can you check your crop settings and export settings in C1 7.1, because my dimensions for an D800E conversion are identical to the LR4 ones, 7360 x 4912 pixels.

Cheers,
Bart

It's probably the 'hide distorted pixels' (or whatever it's called?) thingy. I think it's a lens profile applied that slices off the edge of the image once it's corrected. You can turn it off.

Thanx.

It was the lens profil activation.
Tried to activate lens profile in LR also, and the file got smaller there too.

My next question is :

i tried the keystone in C1 and after that the keystone lines are showing up on every pictures.
I am not able to remove those lines.
There is no hide/show those lines in the menu.???

C1 hangs and chrash so often that I think I will use LR4 more and more.

Have you contacted support about your crashes/hangs? That should not be the case with 7.1 or 7.1.1.

Switch cursor from the keystone cursor to the hand cursor and the lines associated with the keystone cursor will go away.

Consider taking a Capture One class (https://digitaltransitions.com/event/training) online or in person.

Thanx Doug.

Yes, maybe I should take a crash course. No pun intended :-)
