Looking to buy the NEC PA271W-BK display and on the B&H site it's not listed as $899 and the SpectraviewII package is $285, for a total of $1184. But if I choose the display bundled together with the calibrator/software (PA271W-BK-SV), it's $1318. Why is there such a big difference in price? Is there something different about the package deal vs buying separate?

Should be a better deal with the bundle but check what instrument is being supplied in each case. Could be a newer bundle has a newer instrument (i1DisplayPro-2?).

Did you call B&H to find out if there is a mistake in pricing?

The price disparity has been like this for over a year - sort of a chronic error. I just purchased the PA271 with the spectraview/software package separately to save money. The sensors are the same (newest version) in the bundled or separate version. The salesman said they just haven't updated pricing. Just buy them separately.

...colorHQ.com, too.
I ordered the monitor ($969 delivered) from ColorHQ and the calibration system from B&H.
