Title: Cube standard friction
Post by: skimasks on March 09, 2013, 01:10:25 am
I recently purchased a used cube (old knobs, flip lock quick release plate.) So far everything seems pretty great minus one gripe. The standards seem to be really stiff and on my copy the friction knobs seem to do very little. They're almost on or off. I can comfortably move a standard about 4 degrees in one twist of the wrist. Is this normal? In most videos I see rapid wrist movements of about 5 degree increments which makes me believe this could be normal, but I thought I'd check with those in the forum that own cubes.
