Title: Zeiss ZF.2 lens with a Leica M9 body
Post by: Alun on January 30, 2013, 01:32:50 pm
Does anyone have any experience of using Zeiss ZF.2 (Nikon F mount) lenses with a Novoflex adapter on a Leice M9 body? Are there any pitfalls or does it "just work"?

Many thanks in advance of any replies,
Alun

Hi,

Should work. Beware of tolerances. M9 microlenses are optimized for Leica lenses with short flange distance.

Questions:

How would you focus it? M9 has no live view and rangefinder will not work. Consider your needs!

Best regards
Erik
