Great skies, although I think you could lose a bit of the pure black at the top of the second one.
I don't understand the Faust reference, though.

Hello Jeremy,
You right about the second one, I might crop it in 4:3.

Love both of these, stunning monos both of them, that sky is outstanding. As regards the cropping of the black sky at the top of the second shot, I disagree, it think it adds to the drama. I would however take a bit off the bottom, which would work better for me.
