I have an image of an Eagle sitting on a branch on a cloudy day. The eye is a bit dark because of the extended forehead. Whenever I select the Adjustment Brush to lighten the eye a bit Lightroom 4.3 quits. I have had no issues with Lightroom 3 and forward until after I upgraded to 4.3. Has anyone else had this issue and if so is there a fix? Mac OS X 10.7.3

Yes it happened to me, after chasing a solution over the various for days none worked for me I reverted back to 4.2

No problem for me.
OS 10.7.5
LR4.3

4.3 is stable for me on MacOS 10.8.2. Have you tried deleting preferences?

Same here. No crash yet on Mac OS X 10.8.2 and Lightroom 4.3.

Thanks guys.
It would seem that there is an issue here if someone else had the problem.
For everyone else you are running a later version of OSX. I will look into an upgrade and see what happens

Hi Just found a fix for my adjustment brush shutting me down...
Here: http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?7023-Lightroom-adjustment-brushes-quit-working
In a post from Victoria Brampton:
Re: Lightroom adjustment brushes quit working
Christina, check the Flow and Density sliders aren't set to '.
I had my density slider at 100. I put both flow and density to 50 and my brush is working.
This must be a known issue as the fix was posted 17 Nov 2009, 2:42 pm, odd that it has not been mentioned before.
Worked for me hope it works for you.

Hi
May have spoke a tad too soon. I do have me Adjustment brush back but when I tried to make a second adjustment Lightroom promptly left the building! Restarted Lightroom and I was able to make my 2nd adjustment.
So not a perfect fix but at least doable. I will still have to check out an upgrade.

Hi
Upgrading my Mac to 10.7.5 from 10.7.3 fixed the problem.
The adjustment brush now works as it is supposed to.
