Amazing sky! Love the photo, very well done. Looks to me like the shadow slider in the "shadow/highlights" tool might have been pushed a tadddd to high (or something else that would cause shadow lightening)

A wonderful capture.
And I don't only mean the sky.
This is an image of some quality actually and the simple compositional elements add immeasurably to its strength and impact.
Take a bow!

What a sight, lovely photo Patricia!

A very fine image that could be hung on a wall. It isn't often that you see something that doesn't have to be commenting on negatively in any way? You should be proud of this one. :)

Thank you for taking the time pass on your reactions. When she, the CW, had lain or crouched in the snow moving in small increments to frame she never seems to notice how cold it has become, or how dark, but does often seem to have the company of your reaction and response to encourage continued study and embrace of the twiights. It is only stumbling in the dark and falling cold on the hike out that she realizes hands are too crippled, she can not chance removing the card and needs to wrap the gear before making re entry to a wood heated room where she must patiently wait hoping she has managed to bring home something of the experience.
Always offered up in thanks for this community and the paths they help to expose.

I would stay outside in the cold for a night to shoot such a rich-colord sky…
Bravo

... suffering...
Eric,
In the dark and cold it seems to take much longer for the messages/images to reach her...but never suffering in any moments spent with camera and time...after all, any of those could come to be that last she will ever see...only gratitude.

The sky is spectacular, well done for getting out in those conditions.
