3rd attempt to post this - LL refuses then tells me I've already posted... No wonder I don't usually.
OMD, 12-50 kit lens, LR4

Looks good but it's too small to tell, really.

I agree with Jeremy - you are simply teasing us.
Would love to see a larger version of what could be an absolute epic.

Looks promising... any chance of posting at least 800 px?
-
Brilliant image but the previous posters are right, a bigger version would help us!

What's the optimum resolution/size that will upload? LL baulked at previous attempts to post a larger version...
Try this one for size. Pity the preview doesn't display the uploaded file.
This is the kit lens @50mm, F7.1, ISO200, 1/400. It's a bit noisy from LR tweaks but that doesn't bother me. Also sharpened a bit for downsized jpeg. The full size tiff looks better but I imagine if I print it it's going to need further torture.
FWIW after a couple of days of pretty foul weather the sun popped out from the clouds for about 10 minutes. I had to sprint along the promenade to get into a position where the foreground wasn't full of unsightly mess and had a few seconds to bang off some shots. A lot of moisture in the air from the howling wind too.

I use 1200 pixels on the long edge, jpeg at 80%. I've not had any problems. You're allowed up to 4Mb, which is pretty damn big (too big, for those on slow connections).

That's better. Wonderful shot! I might be tempted to tone down the black and the red blobs on the mast, as they drawn attention to themselves.
Where is it?

That's the Palace Pier, Brighton (UK) from the eastern side, shot off the raised promenade ("Max Miller Walk" - which always tempts me to do a Monty Python imitation.)

You shouldn't admit that… ;D

+1. Love the range in the waves and sky.

Sincere thanks for the positive responses. The standards of contribution on LL are so high that I'm very reluctant to offer my modest efforts up as hostages.
I posted this partly because I put a "review" of the OMD on another board here - although it has to be said that this image is useless for judging anything much about the camera as it's so heavily tweaked. In any case it doesn't permit much of a conclusion about IQ given the subject matter. But here's the original shot, converted in LR4 without any adjustments.
