Morning all! First image post I've done in a while. Take a look:

Definitely my most abstract shot so far. Let me know what you think

Nice abstract, on the other hand it may be even better with a lens exhibiting more uniform oof rendering.
Cheers,

I looked at this image for quite a while, and the abstract "stars" are interesting. However, the milky look of the water seemed to me to detract from the abstraction. Hope you don't mind, but I tried increasing the contrast and found, for me, anyway, that the effect of a night sky is heightened (pardon the pun!).

I thought that at first, but then if then lense was more uniform, then it wouldn't have any sense of perspective as all of the light sources are far away, hence all of the 'coins' would look the same. Does that make any sense?

the image was originally closer to what you did with it that what I've done! ;)
In the end, I felt like the ambiguity (namely caused by the title 'Coin Pool') was more obvious when the contrast was lacking, as it gave the impression of shallow water. Thinking of taking 'Night Sky' out of the name all together...
