All nice.
I haven't been north of the border since August last year, and it really is too long. Then again, it's a very long way away. Assynt is on the cards for next year though.

I keep meaning to head to Assynt but never quite get there. I have the convenience of living only 160 miles away from these locations, Still feels like a long drive when you get up at 2:30AM to get there in time for sunrise.

Go the day before, get the sunset, camp & then get the sunrise too. Wanna borrow a tent?

Once, years ago, I read an article that said the first consideration for a vehicle for an outdoor photographer is that you should be able to sleep in the back. I took it to heart and have slept in the back of the last three vehicles. You can't imagine how convenient it is to not have an involved process to break camp in the morning.

Yes, but the walk-in to the base of somewhere like Suilven is about 3 hours or more. If you want a shot from the summit, or even the base, best to camp near-by. And that's by no means the most remote spot.

"Burnt" and "Loch Ba as the Sun comes up" are wonderful.

WOnderful photographs of an inspiring time of the year. I might get there next Winter...

Very nice...# 1 3 and 4 appeal to me...how I'd love to get up to Scotland this winter...more planning time needed.

Beautiful images Scott.
Lovely use of form, texture, and colour!
Light subtle but beautiful.

Scott, thank you for these wonderful pictures from my favourite location on Earth. Your website also contains some stunning images!

2, 3 and 5 are my pick. 2 grabbed me the second I scrolled down to it.
I think it grabbed me so quickly because I wouldn't have considered the tree in such a way when composing the shot. Fantastic idea.
