Bought new 3 years ago. Used twice this year and maybe 10-15 times last year. Excellent condition. Minor scratch at bottom of lens hood.
Comes with case, strap, lens hood. Also included: a black Lenscoat and a Wimberley AP-553 replacement foot.
Asking $6 800.00 (negociable)

The lens currently going for 8,000 US$ grey market at B&H is the version II of this lens, correct?
Unless your lens is also version II, I find your statement a bit misleading.

The 500mm f4 AF-S VR is the only version (to date) on the market. It replaces the old one that wasn't VR. I might be wrong, but where did you find a version II ?

It has the new VR version. Nikon has been a bit weird with this. If a lens already had VR they are now calling it VRII, it it did not have VR before the lens will have a designation of only VR! The 500mm has the latest VR version, there never was a 500mm with VR before (it is the latest version of the 500mm).
Nothing misleading from the OP, a bit weird naming from the side of Nikon maybe.
