Title: Lightroom 4.2 now available

For Nikon shooters support for tethering with D4, D800, and D800e is an notable feature. Preliminary support for the D600 is now in place.

Post by: JRSmit on October 03, 2012, 12:20:27 pm: Downloaded it 7.00hrs amsterdam time and 2hours later in a photoshoot, which i just finished. Tethered with alternatively a canon 1dmk4 and a nikon d700. Flawless, fast connection to camera, and snappy in use.

Shouldn't there be a long string of posts about what idiots Fuji are for not getting their new camera out on time? :-) Personally, I'm sick of waiting for camera manufacturers to catch up to Adobe.

Lightroom 4.1 from the Creative Cloud updates itself like the boxed version of Lightroom. When you start it up, it checks for updates and allows you to download and install the upgrade the "old fashioned way." It does not get updated via the Creative Cloud automatic updater.
