This is a post I created as a way to "give-back" from all the wonderful information I have gathered on this forum, especially in my quest for knowledge in medium format landscape photography.
After shooting these landscape images in Ireland (http://www.kern-photo.com/index.php/2012/08/postcard-from-county-kerry-ireland/), I’ve been asked what gear do I choose when shooting landscapes. Short answer: lots of my wedding photography gear (http://www.kern-photo.com/index.php/info/gear/), but I share 20 essentials in my gear bag. While, there are the obvious (keys, wallet, coffee), I present some the not-so obvious in the video blog post I share here (http://www.kern-photo.com/index.php/2012/08/landscape-photography-tips-part-ii-gear-essentials).
I am new to video blogging and sharing knowledge about landscape photography, but feel this is pretty safe place to start learning and improving.
Looking forward to being apart of this amazing community!

hi RJ,
Welcome here! Ireland is a wonderful place to be, landscape and people - your photographs captured the spirit well. But in one of the pics you gave away you shoot without tripod ;-)

Those are the things to take in a bag, Guinness should be readily available at most street corners ;D

"21 Essentials for shooting Landscapes in Ireland?"
One of them should be an ability to tolerate RyanAir.
Take your own sandwiches and a bottle of champagne (which is cheaper than RyanAir's water.)
Worth enduring though!
