Another try at "plant in a landscape", taken recently.
Questions:
sun: too much? exclude during composition? wait till it's further down?
lens flare: remove?
wimpy trees on the right: exclude during composition?
Thanks for looking.

Scott, this is a delightful image of a very pretty place.
You have raised several questions for consideration.
My only comment would be to possibly remove the pink and green flares if possible.
Nonetheless this is a very good image and the suggestion is a very small one.

It's a very pretty image. I think it would be improved by all three of the suggestions you yourself make. The sun is important but there's just a bit too much of it, which I suspect would be less of an issue were you to wait a short time - a few minutes only, I'd guess. A small crop on the right wouldn't hurt. Of the three, the flare is the least troublesome.

Thank you, Tony, Justan and Jeremy.

I like the inclusion of the sun and even of the flare. It adds extra warmth to the scene.
