Almost picture-postcard perfect.
Possibly make this a true silhouette by darkening the dark tones to black and intensifying the sky.
Others may disagree - and there is plenty of room for maneuver here.

Very pretty indeed. I'd leave it alone.

I'm with Tony here. There's not enough detail to make it interesting, and it simply makes the few details in the lighthouse look like noise.

Very good simple and very effective... i think its worth a look re suggestions to make a true silhouette but i dont think there will be a lot in it as its good as is. Great warm colour.

Thanks guys for your comments! Silhouette here it is.

The whole shot has become darker, with richer, stronger colours. While it certainly isn't worse, I'm not sure that it's an improvement, either: it's just a bit different.
The devotees of the "some is good, more is better" school will certainly like it.

I have been faking photographs ever since I made my first set of burn and dodge tools in 1954! And proud of it.
Was just doodling with this during a printing marathon. Have been thinking about separating near and far areas in photograph with contrast and tonality, and this is an experiment in that direction. To my eye the scene is now much more dimensional, but others may find things lost as well. Could use some refining. Hope you don't mind.

Looks good to me, but I would crop out the layers panel at the right. :D

maybe a black and white conversion?
might look pretty awesome to really crank up the orange and reds
