Title: Petroleum Sun
Post by: dumainew on June 23, 2012, 01:51:48 pm
Taken at Lake Maurepas north of New Orleans.
F10/S250/Nikon D300.
Looks made up, but it's really just about what I saw.
These days of Photoshopping leaves every foto suspect as a document.
Any comments or suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Looks to me like a damn fine photograph. I wouldn't fiddle with it.

Lovely photograph, simple composition and arresting color. Well done

Thank you both for the encouraging words.
The color you see is pretty close to what I actually saw that day on the lake.
It was only because I had the camera and lens color calibrated that it didn't come out more orange and no green.
