Post by: antoinerose on June 04, 2012, 05:02:08 am
Please find a couple of long exposure photos.
My work will be exhibited in Art Hamptons from July 12-15th 2012, Bridgehampton, NY
More on the series: www.antoinerose.com (http://www.antoinerose.com)
Thanks for the community on your advice regarding the choice of a digital back.  I finally went for a P45+

50% with Phaseone and 50% with D3x.  The phaseone has the most oudated UI but delivers outstanding pics.
You don't see it here but when you print 120x120cm the difference is quite there.  The dynamic is also a little bit more interesting on the p45+. I'll test it against the D800 that I just bought. It looks like 20k€ Phaseone will start having a tough future...
Anyway the message here is whatever you use, you can have results with either body. I could have shot those with my Pentax 6x7 and would be fine as well.  Sometimes we don't need always expensive toys to get results ;)

A bit of class. Someone who has a clear vision for their picture-making, knows where in the landscape to find their subject, and has the technical capability to realise those aims.

Bravo!
