Another shot when the light was quite harsh.

It gives a strong impression that the scene would look really good in better light.

Tom,
This one is much better than the other one you posted. But the light is bland as is the sky. I agree with Jeremy, the place deserves better weather/light condition… Easier said than done!

Keep them coming

Shooting this area with a good composition and better light would make for a winner.

Okay, the ultimate cheek for which I apologise, but this is an attempt to make it look a bit Mallorcan instead.

You gotta tonemap that thing, Rob. And 'shop in a big blobby chrome covered car someplace. And then tonemap the whole thing again.

Maybe convert to b&w and leave a couple little color elements, and saturate the crap out of those.

Finally, oversharpen the whole thing until it catches fire.

Now you've got something!

(not you, Original Poster, I mean the maniac who's editing your work!)

I guess you like it, then!

All I'd add, but I'm not clever enough to do it yet, is insert Cindy Crawford in squaw costume - well, part of a squaw costume. Oh, and also a white and brown horse, of course. You'd love that even more.

Like you, I love strong composition and meaningful images.

Best wishes from Mallorca!
