My friends,
The D800 and I spent a few days in UNESCO World Heritage site Yakushima island in Southern Japan. I had been there a few times before but once again enjoyed this amazing locale! I am still trying to process the 80GB of raw data captured, but here are some first images, surprisingly all panos... :-)

Bernard,
Your images always make me miss Japan!
Loved looking through your Yakushima images.
I particularly like the river (4th image in this post) and the 660MP stitch of the waterfall.
It was my favourite photography location when I lived in Japan.

Some great work, Bernard, although I'm especially drawn to the first one.

Bernard,
It's good to see you out using that new toy of yours. Magnificent images as always! The waterfall and the mossy trees are my favorites of this bunch.

You mean if I trade my Canon gear in for a Nikon 800D, I'll immediately be able to take stunning Japanese mountain panoramas, even though I've never been to Japan or made a panorama??? ;D
I think the photographer counts, too.
Cheers,
Eric

It may come with a free ticket to Japan in some markets... :-)

Helo Bernard. I am planning my first official photography to Japan this summer. could you kindly give me a few suggestions for a 7 days trip? thanks!

Sure, but a vague idea of the subjects that interest you would help issue relevant advise.
Cheers,
Bernard
