Title: facial recognition: where about in Canon 5D Mk3
Post by: once2work on May 03, 2012, 08:21:07 am
I replace my 5D2 with Mk3 because of the focusing system so suck that I've to focus with the center and the only cross-type point that can produce the acceptable sharp picture, and the second reason is the "facial recognition" that I learn from the Canon introduction. But I can't find in the manual to activate this function, or actual in fact, they don't have this function.

Thank you in advance if anyone can tell me how to set this function, it could be very helpful for my wedding job.

Thank you in advance.

Face detection in Live View.

hi Herb,

From what I learn from the Canon white paper published, the Canon Mk3 can set the facial recognition from the manual instead of live view only.
