My first thought was to get rid of the second building because it pulls the eye to the right. But when I tried it (by holding books in front of my screen) I wasn't convinced - there is a nice balance as it is.

This is a great subject with lots of promise.
I can't help but feel that this barn needs to be photographed in better light and with a much more interesting sky.
A masterpiece may result.

I'm with Tony, Jay. It's a wonderful subject, but better light would transform it. Also, is there a reason you can't back off a bit and include all of the interesting farmhouse on the right? That would help to balance the picture graphically.

I agree with Tony and Russ. This subject deserves better light.

To the right of the farmhouse was literally, a huge pile of "junk." It was set in such a manner as to make cloning all but impossible. I will have another go at this image next week when I return from my Mini meet and set up my new monitor as I think part of the problem with this image lies with an old, out of calibration, monitor.

It needs steam and fog rising to create a sense of mystery.  Great buildings.  What shame that someone put that much work into it and they let it go.  But a treasure to whom ever puts that visual together.  But needs some better light and steam.  T
