I was told that you should never have to explain a photograph, so completely ignoring that advice, let me explain what you are looking at - this is a small bare tree with very bright sunlight shining through it and bouncing off the bark of the branches. I had been looking at how the light was shining through the tree to give it a sort of early morning dew on a spiders web effect.
And the best bit is I didn't have to leave the house or even get up from the sofa, as this scrubby little tree is just outside and in the wilderness that is our back garden. So I took the shot through the open patio doors as I was sat on the sofa using my house as a lens hood to keep the sun just out of shot behind the tree.
The wife thought I had gone mad of course. ::)

Very cool effect and a fine final result... almost pointillistic.

Fantastic original thinking.

Yup, nicely done. With or without explanation.

Well seen and nicely captured. But they were right about 'explaining' - in this case I find it detracts considerably and makes the post about the photographer and not the photograph.
Then again, maybe that is the way of the world with forums.
Cheers,

Gorgeous work.
As if it were reflected in a pool of water.
If yer wife is correct, it’s a nice place to go!

Slobodan - you really know your stuff, I had to wiki 'pointillistic' to find out what it means.. :)
Thanks everybody and I suppose it just goes to show, that you can find images anywhere and everywhere - and who was it who said "My whole mind is a camera"? Because I can fully identify with that statement, only trouble is I can't turn it off.
