Title: Sinar P3, Sinarback 43HR instruction manuals, please?
Post by: Straight_Lines on April 20, 2012, 12:40:34 pm
Hello-
I'm in the midst of transferring to a Sinar P3, set up with a Sinarback 43HR. Does anyone have a PDF instruction manual for either of these tools? I've looked around a lot...can't find them yet!

Does anybody know what the "standard" focal length is on the Sinar P3 when you're using a 'full frame' (around 48mm x 36mm) sensor on your MFD back?

I'm aware the the 43HR is about 24mm x 36mm in size..now trying to understand what that sensor size will affect the angle-of-view with my CMV lenses. A 55mm, a 90mm, and a 120mm.

Thanks for any help/advice!

This excel document from Capture Integration http://www.captureintegration.com/2009/02/03/focal-length-equivalent-calculator/ will certainly help you out a bit in understanding effective focal lengths across multiple formats. Its easy to use and very clear. Simply choose one format and input a focal length (numbers only) and then it will give you what this focal length is equivalent to in all of the other formats on the document.
