Title: US or European Spectraview software?
Post by: Schwenny on April 13, 2012, 10:22:20 am
To my old NEC Spectraview 2690 I bought the US version of the software and I have used that without any problems. Now when I bought a new NEC Spectraview 271 I was thinking that maybe I should calibrate with the European version of the software that comes with the monitor. So I installed the sofware but my new i1 Display Pro isn't an option in the roll down menu. So I installed the US version and calibrated without a problem.

But is there any big difference in the end result between the two different software? One can ask why NEC has different software in the US and Europe?

Download the latest SpectraView display v5.0.3 - it supports i1Display Pro and also has 3DLUT gamut calibration feature:

MAC

You can also continue to use SpectraView II - it's a decent profiler, and supports hardware calibration in NEC P/PA/SV displays
