Title: EOS 5D Mark III Photographic Dynamic Range
Post by: bclaff on March 29, 2012, 12:33:11 am
Not stellar at low ISO but far from shabby.
PDR (http://home.comcast.net/~NikonD70/Charts/PDR.htm#EOS%205D%20Mark%20II,D800,EOS%205D%20Mark%20III,D4)
Read noise (http://home.comcast.net/~NikonD70/Charts/RN_ADU.htm#EOS%205D%20Mark%20III_14)

:)

P.S. - I'm actively looking for more Canon data. Send e-mail if you want to "pitch in".

does the wavy line with 160/320/640/1200 peaks mean that they are the native iso multiples like the MKII?  i wonder if the noise performance is better at those multiples too?

Yes, I'm double-checking; but that is what it appears.
