Title: Ghost walkers on a starry night
Post by: churly on March 26, 2012, 11:03:07 am
I know this pushes the landscape genre a bit and the title is whimsical but that's just my personal interpretation.  Of course, it is just a bit of ice by the side of the pond.

Thanks for having a look.

Another nice example of winkling out a picture from a landscape that may not look so interesting at first glance.

A little soft on the right?

I like this image quite a bit. There is a lot of content for a "bit of ice"! I really enjoy the shapes, and your title works for me. Thanks for posting this.

The very definition of abstract in landscape. Very nice. Somehow reminds me of Guernica (do not ask me why).

Very fine image. I wish I'd taken it.

Thanks everyone for the comments.  Just a bit of fun but that's what it is all about.

Scott - you are right - a bit soft on the right.  I was leaning out over the ice in a deci9dedly precarious position and didn't manage to keeps thing quite parallel.
