Title: Darktable
Post by: dreed on March 16, 2012, 01:51:04 pm
Are there any Lightroom aficionados out there that have tried Darktable?

brief - darktable is the free, open source (i.e. Linux, etc) answer to Lightroom

It's color management is still broken...

shows it quite clearly.

They seem to be more focused on UI gimmicks than on getting work done.

I tried it but actually working with it under Ubuntu was painful and it crashed too often. It still has a long way to go. I settled on Corel Aftershot Pro, which seems to be the least unusable of the available options on Linux.
