Title: Looks like the scroll bug is still there
Post by: GeraldB on March 07, 2012, 11:12:09 am
Open LRM4 in Library module. The left and right panes scroll with the scroll wheel as expected. Go to the develop module, then go back to the library module. Scroll wheels don't work. Damn, just like 3.5. (Windows 7 pro 64bit).

But, when you go back to Library, if you click just about anywhere (for example, the view ikon for Grid), the scroll bars then work.

"ikon"! Do you have Russian as well as Scandinavian ancestry, Eric?

No, but the spelling may be because my first real camera was a Zeiss "Baby Ikonta."   ;)

Regardless of Eric's ancestry  :), it does not scroll in my system if a click or select or whatever. If I put the focus on the Collections section then it scrolls within that but in the files area it does not scroll once its round tripped to Dev module. This is in Windows.

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit and it works just fine for me: round trip, then click, then scroll on either side.

The scroll wheel works on initial start-up, but once the round-trip is performed, it ceases to work on the folders section as noted by others. Nevertheless it still works in the other sections on the LH side. In fact, starting in say, the collections section, it allows scrolling until that section disappears and then just stops.  Win 7-64bit.

Scrolling seems to be an area that doesn't always work as well as it might; this is also evidenced by the lack of control in the keywording list when attempting to move keywords up and down the list.

Anthony.

This issue has been fixed in the 4.1RC which I've installed and its running nicely.
