I anyone aware of a limit on the number of files that can be converted to .dng at one time? I have 192 in a folder and selected all to convert to .dng using Library>Convert to DNG but it was greyed out. However I could do it in 2 halves (99 + 93) with no problem. Confused! ???

It would appear that LR4B has a 99 file limit while LR3.6 does not have the limit.
In 3.6 I selected 4523 photos and no gray out on the option.
In LR4B I selected 4527 and the option was grayed out. I selected a folder with 112..............grayed out, and a folder with 98......no problem.
Could be just a limitation on the beta.

That's about what I found - hope it is only a Beta problem or it will be a pain in the proverbial.

Pretty sure it is just for the beta, Gerry, though I am a bit surprised they limited it.

Perhaps the beta limitation has something to do with the new lossy DNG option? If the lossy DNG conversion algorithm in LR4b isn't all that snappy yet, they may have limited the DNG conversion to a relatively small number of files.
Just a thought. I could very well be wrong, though...
