I'm still working on images from August. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Scott

Hi Scott-
The first and third are my favorites. I especially like the tonal range and blurred water in the third. It contrasts nicely with the rocks.

Thanks Michael. Glad you liked them. Interesting that #2 got more views. You never can tell.

Hi Scott-
Thanks for sharing your photos. For me the water blur and leading lines in 1 and 3 are more engaging.

I agree.

I find these very successful attempts to bring art to your photos.
For example in #1 I see examples of lines, texture, motion and color (contrasts). I see natural relationships between the parts, foreground, middle and background because the image is tight or not much distance between the elements.
You used the technique of a narrow aperture to get the desired effect or look of the water. Your angle or point of view puts us right into the action of the scene.
I like the way we can see right through the water to the rock underneath (about in the center) Is that correct, are we seeing under the water there? Did you use a polarized filter?

Hi Rambler,
Thanks for your comments. No filters here, just very clear water and lots of contrasting colours in the rock.
