F-U-N-N-Y!!
What's a little sad, tho, is when you read the responses, and find that many (not all) didn't get the joke at all.

Now where can I find some gold paint? I want to upgrade my cheap Nikon glas ;D

White paint all over adds even more value.

I must point out that painting on that lens will void the warrantee. Paint overspray will accumulate on the lens glass itself and in the focusing ring no matter how carefully you mask those off. Also, the masking tape leaves a residual adhesive on the plastic that can be removed only with lacquer solvant. Unfortunately the solvant also dissolves the plastic of the lens body itself, also voiding the warrantee. So if anybody wants a really good price on a Canon lens, please contact me directly.
