The first looks awful. I do like the third, though.

I often worry about that line of thought: it can lead one to very confused decisions! Try a model casting if you doubt me, which, of course, doesn't imply that all models have to be beautiful...

Sounds to me more as if Ms Cooke (not a Frenchman, I presume?) was defending a bad call!

I quite like the third image. The first is interesting, at least to me, with the twisted tree but I find it out of balance.

Wow, the third is really great, but the 1st looks a bit strange.

I fell in love with the third picture!  :o

I think it is the signature that throws the first one out of balance.
