I would like to introduce you to a friend of mine Janet Dwyer. Janet uses a scanner as her camera. The process is called photo scanography. She does large prints, which are beautiful and extremely detailed.
I hope you enjoy her work. If you are interested, check out her website.

Thanks Steven,
Well worth the visit to her site.
FWIW, this is the second post in as many days where an artist has shown images from scanned odjects. Both sets are beautiful.

Some nice work - thanks for sharing the link!

I never thought a scanner would have that much DoF and these images would be even technically possible apart from their beauty.

The dof is very much like an 8x10 view camera with a long lens but because resolution is so high there is an illusion of apparent sharpness.

I thought to post a couple images from my friend Janet Dwyer's Fine Art Photo Scanography, as mentioned above - if you are interested, check out her website.

The first one BeesNest was awarded second place in the Photography Masters Cup (Professional Still Life category 2011), the second image won Photo Techniques Magazine 2011 ‘The Photographic Experience’, second place.
