Mark, You could try talking to the mountian rescue folk, they will know all the routes and you'll often find there is a photographer in the team. My fav was wastwater, it has the drama that surounds me now in British Columbia.  Good luck

Anyone lurking around here who's based near Kendal, Cumbria UK? I'd be interested in exchanging info on lesser known photogenic locations and fell routes. Also, I'd love to get some leads on which galleries are approachable and interested in looking at yet another portfolio of Lake District landscapes.
