Title: Changing the bulb in an Arri 300
Post by: Scott Hargis on December 21, 2011, 10:56:20 am
Not sure if this is the right forum for this...

I've been using Arri 150's for a while now, and recently picked up a used 300. I needed to put a new bulb in it, and couldn't figure out how to open the thing up! On the 150's, it's easy, there's a big obvious knob that when loosened, allows the back to slide out, revealing the innards. But on the 300, I ended up removing a bunch of screws, and eventually the whole thing sort of fell apart on my bench. I got the bulb replaced, but it took a while to put it all back together, not something I would ever want to do in the field!

So -- am I missing something? Something obvious?
