Title: Club Projection
Post by: alangubbay on December 17, 2011, 07:08:26 am
We have a 4 years' old BenQ DLP projector.  We get bad colour and have not been able to calibrate it successfully with a laptop computer.  In fact, it seems better when done manually. When we bought it, LCD projectors were very poor with a visible grid and low contrast.  I am now told that a DLP projector cannot be calibrated successfully. Is this correct? Many clubs in UK seem to use Canon LCOS XEED projectors.  These are beyond our current resources.  Is the Epson EH-TW3200 (or perhaps the NEC M420X) a reasonable alternative?  In the case of the Epson, we would only use 1400x1050 out of the 1920x1080px available. Has anyone any other suggestions? I should be more than grateful for your help.
