Title: Printing from Photoshop
Post by: Bryan Conner on December 13, 2011, 06:49:24 am
I am watching the Printing from Lightroom video now and it is very good.  I do not use Lightroom, but I am getting a lot of useful info from it.  Thanks guys!

But, in the video, Michael mentions having discussed something in the Printing from Photoshop video.  Have I missed this video, or is it a video that has yet to be released?

I am uncertain exactly what your specific reference is.

Since Jeff does almost all of his printing out of Photoshop. 'Printing out of Photoshop' as a topic appears several times; but there is no one specific video so titled.

Within the videos published, check #23 and #41 under the chapter markers Print... or Print Settings

It is at 15:08 in Printing from LR #39.  I think that I understand the process that is described, but I do not remember seeing it discussed in the previous video....you know...getting old and all.

thanks again for a super job to the three of you.

It's somewhere...  ;D ...in the Colour Management videos where they talk of getting a printer/paper profile from the lab that is creating your prints.

A good lab or print making studio will be able to give you the correct profile so that you can SoftProof (so far only in PS..) your images before sending them JPEG files.
