Title: Z3200 & OSX 10.7
Post by: John Caldwell on December 10, 2011, 04:16:55 pm
Has anyone tried the new 10.7-compatable HP Utility and Raster/PS driver for a Z3200 yet? These were apparently released in Aug 2011. If you are using the Z3200 within Lion, may I ask if you are connecting via USB or Ethernet, and if you are printing from LR or other app?

HP Drivers (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3737550&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=3737540&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4114)

I've kept a 10.6 boot volume handy for printing from LR as it's been going well and haven't looked forward to the upgrade. If 10.7 works, though, I'm ready to try.

Many thanks,

John Caldwell

Just did a few tests today with my laptop running 10.7 on my Z3200. So far, calibration, profile, and printing seems to work all fine with the z3200 connected via ethernet. I'm going to update my main machine to lion but I do have a bootable backup of my system disk if I encounter problems.

I've been using my Z3100 on my 10.7 MBP since the driver was released - mid August; no issues

OK. I can now report the same good news, having today applied the updated HP Utility and Raster driver to 10.7.2. All appears well, and we too are ethernet-connected.

Thanks to you both for chiming in.
