Anyone have experience with choosing a video card for the Dell Ultrasharp 27" monitor?
I have a Win 7 64 bit PC.
Thanks, Lincoln

Unless Windows is different from a Mac (where I come from), any modern card should do. Might check to see if it supports 10bits or more, on Windows, with the right set of app’s and display, you actually can use the added bit depth through the entire system.

Any modern card will do that supports the resolution which they all do. You might choose which interface you want directly supported, DVI or DP and choose accordingly. If you play games or render video, buy one with enough power. If you don't, save yourself the money and get a low power card that won't generate a lot of heat or take a lot of power. Something like an ATI 5000 series. If noise is important, choose a passively cooled card and rig up an internal 120mm fan to blow air across it's heatsinks. You'll be much happier without a the fan whine from a small video card fan.
