Does anyone have a reliable and economical source for purchasing mat board?

We've had lots of discussions in the past about various online sources for ordering framing supplies. The best thread is http://www.luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?topic=40278.0, but you can find many more using the search box in the top right.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. If you just want cheap mats without any thought to longevity then go for the cheapest junk you can find.
If you want a good archival mat then they will cost more. All of the major manufacturers carry the good stuff as well as the junk.

I prefer Bainbridge and Rising over the others out there.
A place like United Manufacturers will sell you mats and ship them to you.

I get Peterborough (http://www.peterboromatboards.com/) mats through Triple Touch Moulding.  They have different qualities and are Made in Canada!
