Hi All
I had been using 17inch wide (A2) roll paper and thought I could save a few dollars buying a 24inch (A1) roll and reconfiguring the page setup in LR3.5 accordingly to print A2 on my Epson 7900. Unfortunately, I am getting a square 615x615 print with the image off centre (as if it was on A2). The preview in LR is A2 but the final print isn't. I have played around with the setup but still can't figure it out. Has anyone had a similar challenge or suggestion? Many thanks in advance.

You need to set the print size in the printer driver. Use Page Setup or Print Setup, the button on the bottom of the left column.
You also need to set up the print layout using controls in the right column.
More information on your setup would help.

Thanks Alan. Currently, I have the page lay out as follows; Orientation - Landscape, Size A2 scaled 144% to Roll Width 24inch.
I have also tried scaling 100% but that only created a slighly smaller image. Hardy

What are your Layout Style setting and your layout settings?

Well, I didn't think that it was but, after trying to configure my 4880 with analogous settings, I think that you should set
Page Size to A3
Output Paper to Same as page size
Untick the reduce/enlarge box
Untick the optimize enlargement box, or at least recheck that you actually want this on
Then, in the LR print module layer tab, use the height and width sliders to set the cell size you need. You can also set the margins to position the image on the page.
By doing this, you should be able to stay in LR to configure your image rather than having to use the driver settings. I have a number of presets for each paper type with various page sizes so that I can be confident that the driver has the settings that I need without looking at them.
I hope this helps,
Best regards
Alan
Edit: I don't really understand what is going on with your original set-up, but it looks at lot like the problems with double profiling, with both the printer and LR trying to control the image size. Alternatively, perhaps its a lot like lying to your doctor. :D

Thanks Alan, I managed to sort it by just resetting everything and using the user defined box in the driver to add another profile with the A2 diminsions which now works great.
